Online Vocal Lessons Free?
Ok, so I’m 13, and I LOVE singing. My friends and my Xbox 360 (I can achieve at least 95% for all songs on v. 1 and 2 on expert) tell me I’m good, but am I really? I post stuff on youtube, but nobody ever looks at it. I don’t have time or cash to take vocal lessons, but free ones online would be perfect. I’m subscribed to a few karaoke sites, but most of them are junk and NOT helpful. What should I do, my range is shrinking!
I’m not sure if there is any FREE online vocal lessons, but if you want to warm up your voice and try to reach a higher vocal range, you can try warming up your voice daily. Try doing a C major scale (do re mi fa so la ti do) using a piano. If you cant play a piano look up “C major piano scale” on YouTube and singing along with it. Each time try to reach higher notes. Also try scales using words like “Mama made me mash my M&Ms” or “I Love to sing” While saying these make sure you go all the way up to the highest note you can reach and repeat them on the way down. Try using your soft pallet (the soft part at the back of your mouth) while singing and opening your mouth more. Hope this helps!
