Play Karaoke On Pc Free
Can anyone suggest a good quality free software program that will strip vocals from youtube videos?
I sing a lot of karaoke and I like to rehearse. I cannot afford a home karaoke system so I have sort of turned my pc system into one that I can play a youtube music video that I have downloaded, sing with it and record it. That is fine for the karaoke versions of songs I can find on youtube, but is there a good quality, but simple to use program that I can download to strip the vocals from the songs? I would prefer one that is free, but would also consider purchasing one if it is really good and not too expensive. The songs I do this for are for my own use and will not be played publicly (i.e., rehearsal for karaoke singing). It would be great if it could also do this for songs in other formats (besides YouTube’s FLV format). Thank you very much for any help!

Additionally, I would suggest using Video Download Helper. It’s a Mozilla add-on which lets you download Youtube files in MP4 format, apart from FLV. Sadly, it doesn’t support Internet Explorer.
