karaoke software please help!!?
can anyone recommend a great karaoke software to me???
I want a good karaoke software which can remove vocals from songs and doesnt spoil the music..
all the karaoke softwares i got upto now were useless cos the songs were distorted when the vocal remover was applied…and the vocals of the original singer can still be heared anyway..
PLEASE PLEASE HELP ME!!!
I’m sorry to say but the fact is there is no program or hardware that can completely eliminate vocals ( or any other instrument) from and audio track, and leave the rest of the music intact. Let me explain why this is.
Vocal eliminators work in one of two ways.
They remove midrange frequencies, where the human voice sits. The problem with that is a lot of other music also resides within that range.
Vocal eliminators can also work in a different manner, which is by removing most of the sound that is panned center. Lead vocals are most always panned dead center. Obviously other music is also panned dead center, and so you are going to lose most of that as well.
The results, as you have found out, are rather poor.
So far the best program I have found to accomplish what you is not a ‘karaoke’ program but rather, and audio recording program. Adobe Audition. It has a preset within it that removes the center ’sounds’. But again, it is far from perfect.
My suggestion to you is to use MIDI files for backing tracks, and if the track doesn’t exist, for free or for purchase, you can find people that will custom sequence a MIDI file and then convert that sequence to an audio track for you.
If you are interested I can probably help you out. If there is already an existing MIDI track available I could find it then do the audio work for you. If it does not, and it isn’t a complex tune I may be able to sequence it for you. If not, I can point you towards people who can.
Most times, this kind of work will cost you. Few people will spent days of work doing this kind of programming for free. I will do what I can for you, at no cost, but if I have to send you to someone else, they will charge you, I’m sure.
