Karaoke Show Me The Meaning
How am I supposed to do this???
I live in the Southeast. WAY in the Southeast. And I want to be a singer. But there arent many opportunities to show your stuff, so to speak, where I live. I mean, yea, theres karaoke, and talent shows, and other stuff like that. But thats not what Im talking about. I mean, no agent or person from a record company is gonna be in the Southeast (Carolinas) looking to give someone there big break.
How do you make a demo CD? Where would I send it? If I know my parents arent gonna like fly me out to LA, how am I supposed to becaome a singer? )They wouldnt fly me out cause Im 13, and its extremely hard becoming a singer.)
My mom did say that after I finish high school I can try out for American Idol. And I want to! But I want to make some progress before then! Voice lessons, maybe a demo cd or two? What are your suggestions on how to start a singing career from where I live?
Nashville is not that far away. Now days every type of music is recorded here from rap to counrty. You are a little young still so be patient in about 5 years you will be legal and can come here and give it a shot. But go to college as well not all singers can make it. Too many out there that are just as good as the ones that do make it.
Also, yes singing lessons are great to get you going. Don’t worry about making a CD yet just work on perfecting your singing for now. Enjoy your friends and school while you can.
