What is the best way to reduce loud music from neighbors?
I live in an apt and my next door neighbor blast the karaoke where the bass vibrates throughout my apartment – besides the tone deaf singing there is the vibrating bass. Acoustically what can drastically reduce the vibration in my home that feels like heartbeats . The common wall is concrete. I need info on the best way to reduce the bass. Thanks.
Ask him to turn it down, if he doesn’t call the cops.
Seriously, the only way is use a sound dampening material like insulation and there are professional materials, but that doesn’t solve the bass vibration problem. And to solve that the apartments need to structurally isolated. And even then it won’t do much.
I’m no expert, but lower frequencies are hard to isolate.
Bet you get more satisfaction, in more than one way, from calling the police.
