Karaoke Is Fun
Is it ok for a karaoke dj or any estblmnt employee to gossip, make fun and manufacture lies about customers?
A subcontractor karaoke dj went to the owner of the bar and manufactured lies about a 15year loyal customer. The bar owner has now “86′d” this lady. She has been told that she will not be served and is banned to sing karaoke there for no reason. This happened six months ago. To date no one can tell her why and a lot of her friends have alienated her because of gossip created by this 61 year old DJ. This DJ happens to be friends with her now ex-boyfriend who she has broken up with. I feel my friend’s rights have been violated and is being discriminated against. This man has ruined her reputation. What can she do about it.
If it’s true, she should get her lawyer to draft a letter to the DJ asking him to cease and desist spending slander about her.
She might also be able to take action under anti-discrimination laws in your jurisdiction.
