teens, 20s and parents, where do you go to hang out?
My mom recently got divorced and she and her friends thought of an idea for a business that they could all run together. They love getting together and hanging out but they can’t seem to escape the long list of old drunk men who constantly hit on them. they want to start more of a club that has a safe environment..
(this is where i come in..) i suggested that they make all the same fruity drinks they serve at bars, but make them all virgin. we could have couches, tables, and a dance area along with random karaoke/open mic nights and movie nights. and we’d serve a limited menu of food items. (any food suggestions? i was thinking appetizers and things).
any suggestions would be welcomed!

is “the clubhouse” a good name?
teens/adults are on different floors so they don’t have to sit with their parents. (i know you’d rather not be seen with them)
parents: good idea? at least you’ll know your kids aren’t out getting drunk.
i would make some suggestions
1) like the “house” aspect, but make it more relevant to yourselves. “lounge” also works
2) have side by side areas so teens don’t have to feel like they’re hanging out with their parents. this can be a dance area with the non alcoholic drinks and stuff like you said.
3) serve alcohol in the adult area. you can charge a premium for alcohol which will make you money. most people dont’ make money off an appetizer, even if you do charge an entry fee. (unless this is a Christian sort of place)
4) in the adult section, have activities, so they can pass the time. either classes, board games, bingo, something.
5) you can call the teen dance house the clubhouse or “blank street” (name of the street it’s on)
