Karaoke For The Deaf
Is there a music lyric recognition program that will show the lyrics? Similar to karaoke?
My mom is deaf and her husband-to-be is also deaf. My husband will be deejaying the reception, and I thought it would be really awesome to have a projector showing the lyrics to the songs we are playing (especially the song that they will be dancing to).
I know that there are music recognition programs (if you’re sitting in a car somewhere and hear this great song- your cell phone can pickup on what the name of the song is, etc.)- but is there a program out there that will actually display the music lyrics while you’re playing the song? More importantly- a program for a computer (not a cell phone) so we can hook that up to the projector.

There is no such software. Karaoke lyrics are embedded in the sound track of a karaoke song. You will need to use karaoke songs and the proper software.
