Amilo Li 1718 – Realtek High Definition – Audio Mic Troubles?
I’m about to pull my hair out. Basically I cannot get my mic to work on my Amilo Li 1718. I bought myself a Philips SBC MD110 karaoke mic. I’m running Vista.
It all plugs in fine, but here’s the problem. I have to SCREAM into the mic to get the smallest sound out of it. I’ve adjusted every sound property possible. The mic is fine, it works on another computer. I have a Realtek High Definition onboard card.
I’ve searched online for help – It seems this is a common problem. However everyone seems to have a different interface than my Realtek sound manager. I expect mine is for this Amilo series only. I even looked on the Fujitsu website and their PDF for Realtek isn’t like my interface at all.
I’ve downloaded new drivers – to no avail.
Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

hav u tried connecting your mic to the back panel of your pc???
it usually works better than the front panel..
Also try balancing + increasing n decreasing the mic volume in your audio io settings…(its in the realtek sound manager)
well i had a similar problem and this worked for me… i hope it does work for u too…. best of luck….
may b u’ll hav to call some hardware expert to check on your mother board…
