Any suggestions for a NYC bachelorette party?
I have been asked to plan a bachelorette party for 12 women & 1 guy in the Park Slope/Prospect Park area of Brooklyn. The bride has made it clear she does not want the typical (sorority girls gone wild style) party. No strippers, no vial full of condoms, no public humiliation whatsoever. Just a fun night out on the town with the ladies (and gentleman). Her only criteria is a lovely and reasonably priced dinner, drinks and some sort of group activity- similar to bowling but not bowling; & no karaoke. Any suggestions…
Will consider other parts of Brooklyn, LIC, and Manhattan
wow, finaly someone who would like a nice party rather then the trashy sleep around party.
Have you thought about going and buying some alchol and having a make your own drinks night? A fun group activity could be some kind of game, have everyone write questions and answers on a slip of paper, put it in a hat and one at a time asking the questions. IT would be a how well do you know the bride/groom kind of thing but not trashy, rather then truth or dare questions make it ‘where did sue and john meet, and how did they meet’ kind of thing, make everyone ooh and awe, and it will help the bride any if she had cold feet or were nervous it would make her feel better about everything and make it a better memory. And rather then going out you could always have it catered.
