Does anyone know how to record songs on a Macintosh Computer?

I have the iSight and Record speakers on my computer and I have an audition soon and I want to record my voice with the tune of the song in Karaoke version on my itunes. (Did you get all that?)
Anyway, does anyone know how to do that?

Use garageband, make a voice track and mark it to record from your built-in microphone, drag the karaoke song track into garageband, put some headphones on (so the music doesn’t cause feedback through the mic and speakers) and record!

Before you record, you may want to adjust the record level for the microphone (you can do that when selecting the built-in microphone).
