Good Karaoke Machine
Recommend a karaoke machine for 11 year olds?
My twin 11 year old daughters love to sing and perform, so I thought a karaoke machine would be a good Christmas gift. However, I’ve been looking around online and there are so many to choose from. I don’t want anything too fancy or complicated, but I don’t want a janky Fisher Price one, either. Anyone know of a good one? And/or tips on what CDs to get? Thanks!
They’re 11. I obviously know they bore easily. And I expect, as with every Christmas, for the excitement to fade. I am looking for someone who has bought one of these and has a good review of it. A recommendation, please!
A Karaoke machine is nothing more than a CD player with a microphone and video out. The technology has been around for years.
You have to realize that kids get bored VERY quickly. They will use it for a couple of months, a few birthday parties, and then, most likely will be collecting dust.
More expensive ones may have more special audio effects, dual microphones inputs (for duets), built-in speakers, and other features that are nice to have, but not essential.
For CDs, listen to what music your daughters like. You need to buy Karaoke Discs (CD-G)
