windows movie maker problems?
i had downloaded a song from u tube and its karaoke music only. but now i want to make it on a video on the windows movie maker but its saying this message and i’m confused of what codec its talking about what can i do? i want this song to be played on.
this is the message that its saying:
The file C:UsersOwnerMusicPlaylistskaraoke music.wpl cannot be imported because the codec required to play the file is not installed on your computer. If you have already tried to download and install the codec, close and restart Windows Movie Maker, and then try to import the file again.
what does this mean?
A codec is a file that helps decode another file type. Basically it is saying it needs to download the language so it can import your “karoke music” file.
Usually it gives you the option to download this codec when the error comes up. If not, search the help file of the programme for “codec” or “codec download” – most programmes will then direct you to a website where you can download it, and then it will work.
