All In One Karaoke Microphone

How to I plug in my microphone to my computer?
I’ve seen this question asked many times, but most of them have been solved by either buying an adapter, or un-muting the mic input on the volume control.
Well, my microphone has two plugs(?) that you can use, one for a Karaoke machine, and one for the computer.
So, the size isn’t a problem here, as it fits perfectly into the mic holes on my computer.
Also, my microphone volume is un-muted, and set from medium to high.
But, when I open my sound recorder and try to record, all I get is audio feedback.
To anyone who doesn’t know what this is, it’s a very annoying squeeling sound. -_-
I can’t seem to get it to stop and I’ve tried everything.
Unhooking my earphones while I record, standing as far away as possible from the computer, etc.
I know that my microphone isn’t the problem, because I have a handheld audio recorder that I can plug my microphone into and it works just fine.
Please help?
Go to record level and adjust it!!!You will find it in the same menu where you un-mute the mic input.(C-media audio configurations)
